Welcome. I know how hard it is to come in and open up to a stranger, so please know that when we meet, I see you as a person, not a diagnosis. In our first session, we discuss your issues and goals and how you would like to work together. For instance, some people want someone to bounce ideas off of or need support, while others want specific coping or relationship skills they can learn and practice every day.
I’m experienced in trauma recovery, cognitive behavioral techniques, and dialectical behavioral skills training. My approach to anxiety and emotional wellness is holistic. My experience as a yoga teacher allows me to teach breathwork, mindfulness skills and energy techniques to clients interested in reducing their anxiety and managing their emotions.
I strongly believe that we all need a safe, supportive environment to tap into who we truly are and to develop our strengths. My goal is to provide that space where you can safely explore your issues, learn coping skills, be supported, and be seen as a whole person.
Accepting both teen and adult clients, I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions including grief.
I enjoy working with the LGBTQ+ community, and people from all cultures, religions and spiritual beliefs. I’m also a writer and enjoy working with other creatives who want to follow their passions.
